Dr. Beck, an Omaha native, is an alumna from the University of Nebraska and received a Bachelor of Science in Zoology in 1977 and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1981. After completing dental school, Dr. Beck entered a post-graduate residency program at the University of California-San Francisco College of Medicine, where she developed a keen interest in orthodontics. That interest led her to pursue a postgraduate program in orthodontics at the University of Iowa. Dr. Beck received a Master of Science in Orthodontics in 1985 and returned to Nebraska, where she established practices in Omaha and Fremont. She was on the faculty at the University of Nebraska Medical Center from 1985-1996, where she taught orthodontics to Pediatric Dentistry post-graduate students.
Dr. Beck is committed to helping her patients achieve beautiful smiles. She has treated thousands of patients for over 20 years. She regularly attends continuing education courses, keeping abreast of the latest technology in orthodontics. She uses the most advanced techniques available to achieve excellent results. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Nebraska Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Nebraska Dental Association and the Omaha District Dental Society. She participates in a local dental study group and a regional study group of orthodontists who use the Damon System.
When away from the office, Dr. Beck enjoys fishing and boating as well as sewing and quilting. She also loves to travel with friends and family. You will often find her cheering on the Huskers.
